Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today again showed his caring nature by getting down from his official car to offer help to an accident victim in Jalan Susur near Istana Negara.
A 53-second video uploaded on the Istana Negara Instagram shows His Majesty stopping his entourage and approaching a woman whose car had been involved in an accident.
After speaking to the woman to enquire of her condition, Sultan Abdullah continued with his journey to the Royal Museum to open an exhibition.
Recently, His Majesty also similarly pulled over to offer help to an accident victim while on his way to a pre-Cabinet meeting in Putrajaya.
The video of the earlier case has garnered almost 80,000 views, with netizens generally praising His Majesty for his caring nature.
Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur police deputy traffic chief Supt Sarifudin Mohd Salleh confirmed that a Toyota Vios driven by the woman was involved in the accident at about 9 am.
She was believed to have lost control of the car before it crashed, he said when contacted.
