Preacher Wan Ji Wan Hussin who was was sentenced to nine months jail for his 2014 sedition charge had his sentence enhanced to one year's jail after the Shah Alam High Court allowed the appeal by the prosecution.

The sedition charge was over a Facebook post about the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
