The retail price of RON97 will be down by three sen to RM2.38 per litre, while RON95 and diesel remain unchanged at RM2.08 and RM2.18 per litre respectively from June 22 to 28.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng in a statement today said the unchanged retail prices for RON95 and diesel was in line with the government's decision to stabilise fuel retail prices and reduce the cost of living.
Based on the automatic pricing mechanism (APM), the retail prices of RON95 petrol and diesel for the period were RM2.08 per litre and RM2.19 per litre respectively.
"But the retail prices for the two products have been maintained at RM2.08 per litre and RM2.18 per litre," said Lim.
He added that the decline in the prices of processed petroleum products was due to the drop in the average price of Brent crude oil compared to the previous week.
