Port Dickson MP Anwar Ibrahim today launched the "PD Tuition 2.0" programme aimed at providing free online tuition classes to students in the district.

He said students could access PD Tuition 2.0 through PDTuition.com.

“If I have the funding capabilities, I will expand the free online tuition PDTuition.com programme throughout Negeri Sembilan and the country.

“Therefore, children need to be encouraged to use computers and I will try my best to contribute computer set for each school in Port Dickson,” he said at the launch of PD Tuition 2.0 programme in the constituency.

Commenting on the programme, Anwar said it was organised by the Port Dickson district headmasters’ council in collaboration with the Port Dickson parliamentary office and received support from the Education Ministry.

He said the programme was collaborative efforts of parents, teachers and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) that could be utilised by students from Year One to Form Five.

“This programme has already started and it is a pilot project in Port Dickson. I hope the programme will be expanded nationwide in the future,” he said. - Bernama
