A minister's son has reportedly been arrested after allegedly testing positive for marijuana.
According to Sinar Harian, the 31-year-old was arrested by Dang Wangi police in a raid on entertainment outlets on Jalan Ampang at 12.30am.
A total of 101 individuals were reportedly tested for drugs during the raid, with two, including the minister's son, testing positive.
Police have confirmed the arrest with Malaysiakini.
Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Zainuddin Yaacob said both individuals have been released on police bail.
Malaysiakini is attempting to obtain further details and has contacted the minister in question for comment.
The case is being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act for the consumption of drugs.
The provision carries a fine of up to RM5,000 or two years' jail upon conviction.
