Harapan friendly fire continues
Friendly fire in Pakatan Harapan continued after Bersatu Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman shot back at P Ramasamy over DAP Youth's call for Education Minister Maszlee Malik to resign.
DAP Youth retaliated with their own criticism of Syed Saddiq, while PKR Youth took aim at Bersatu chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
DAP lawmaker Ramkarpal Singh also took a swing at Syed Saddiq, saying that blaming de facto unity minister P Waythamoorthy over the Seafield temple riots was akin to blaming the youth and sports minister for Malaysia's loss at the AFF Suzuki Cup finals.
Mahathir stalwart Khairuddin Abu Hassan also claimed there is a plot to undermine the prime minister, while taking a swipe at Kedah PKR chief Johari Abdul.
Anwar calls for immediate truce
Pakatan Harapan de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim called for an immediate end to the friendly fire in the coalition.
DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said Harapan leaders must get approval from their parties before criticising other leaders.
Meanwhile, DAP senator Liew Chin Tong said Harapan needs to come up with a narrative that can unite the people for a national purpose.
Former finance minister Daim Zainuddin said the government needs to stop repeating its narrative about the country's debt and start focusing on fulfilling its election promises.

The head of a taskforce overseeing the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple apologised for suggesting that firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim had been hit by a fire truck in the riots that occurred outside the temple grounds last month.
