PARLIAMENT | Three members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) were replaced today.
The outgoing PAC members are Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir (Harapan-Johor Bahru), Willie Mongin (Harapan-Puncak Borneo) and Hasan Arifin (BN-Rompin).
They will be replaced by Nurul Izzah Anwar (Harapan-Permatang Pauh), William Leong (Harapan-Selayang) and Noraini Ahmad (BN-Parit Sulong).
Both Leong and Hasan have had a stint in the PAC before. Hasan was the chairperson of the PAC between 2015 and mid-2018.
The PAC is currently headed by Ronald Kiandee (BN-Beluran). The other opposition members of the PAC are Ahmad Hamzah (BN-Jasin), Takiyuddin Hassan (PAS-Kota Bharu) and Robert Lawson Chuat (GPS-Betong).
The other government members of the PAC are Wong Chen (Harapan-Subang), Steven Choong (Harapan-Tebrau), Hasanuddin Mohd Yunus (Harapan-Hulu Langat), Wong Hon Wai (Harapan-Bukit Bendera) and Wong Shu Qi (Harapan-Kluang).
With Nurul Izzah and Noraini's inclusion into the PAC, there are now three women members.
