The Syariah High Court in Kuala Lumpur has fixed Nov 14 for Aminah Abdullah, the mother of the late Jamaluddin Jarjis, to file an affidavit in reply to widow Kalsom Ismail's attempt to strike out her faraid (Islamic wealth distribution) claim.

This was related by Kalsom's lawyer Shamsuriah Sulaiman as the case came up for management before a Syariah High Court registrar today. Lawyer Zuri Zabuddin Budiman appeared for her children.
