Umno's Labuan MP Rozman Isli will reportedly quit his party tomorrow, according to an Astro Awani report.

The report said Rozman will likely be joining Parti Warisan Sabah.

Rozman did not confirm or deny the claim but indicated that he had much to say.

"I will issue a statement tomorrow, it is being prepared... There are many things that will be in the statement," he was quoted as saying.

If Rozman quits, it will be the sixth MP to quit Umno.

With only 48 MPs left, it will also cause Umno to lose its position as the largest party in the Dewan Rakyat.

At present, Umno is tied with PKR as the largest party in the Dewan Rakyat with 49 seats each.

PKR initially had 50 seats but this was reduced to 49 as the parliamentary seat of Port Dickson was vacated to trigger a by-election for PKR president-elect Anwar Ibrahim's bid to return to the Dewan Rakyat.

PKR will be back to 50 seats if Anwar secures the constituency as voters go to the polls this Saturday.

The report said Rozman is expected to submit his membership form to Warisan deputy president Darell Leiking.

Darell is scheduled to visit Labuan tomorrow.

Last month, Umno veterans Anifah Aman (Kimanis) and Mustapha Mohamed (Jeli) quit the party.

Prior to that, three other MPs also quit Umno. They were Masjid Tanah MP Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, Bukit Gantang MP Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal and Bagan Serai MP Noor Azmi Ghazali.
