PKR POLLS | All voting results from the PKR elections in Kedah today have been invalidated following technical difficulties with the e-voting system that prompted the postponement of eight division polls.
This was announced by PKR election committee secretary Ismail Yusop in a press conference in Seberang Jaya, Penang, according to Bernama.
Meanwhile, poll results from all 13 divisions in Penang have been accepted without change.
"There will be no changes unless there are formal objections," Ismail was quoted as saying by the Malaysian Insight.
Meanwhile, besides postponing tomorrow's polls in Perak and Perlis, the committee had suspended party elections in Negeri Sembilan and Malacca which were due to be held on Sept 29.
The press conference ended in a commotion with some of those in attendance using chairs as weapons.
This is PKR's first time using e-voting for its party polls.
It is the only party to allow all members to cast ballots.
