Deputy Home Minister Mohd Azis Jamman said he has sacked his officer for allegedly taking an upskirt video.
"The action was deplorable and despicable. I have decided to take stern action against the officer who made the recording.
"After consideration, I have made the decision to sack the officer immediately as it affects my image and credibility as deputy home minister as well as the office of the deputy home minister," he said in a statement today.
Yesterday, a 30-year-old woman lodged a police report against Azis' officer.

The man, who had accompanied Azis to an optometry shop in Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur, was caught on CCTV holding up his mobile phone to the back of the woman who was conducting an eye check on Azis.
Azis stressed that he was unaware of the incident when it happened.
"I view seriously the individual's act of making the secret recording which was done without my realisation when the eye check was ongoing," he said.
The Sepanggar MP apologised for the incident, stressing that it does not reflect the other officers who work under him.
