Singapore police say that an aircraft linked to the 1MDB investigation is parked at the city-state’s Seletar Airport.
The authorities had not previously confirmed that the SGD35 million private jet was in the city.
Believed to be owned by fugitive financier Jho Low, the aircraft is an asset that Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has said he is seeking to repossess.
However, Singapore police said they had not received any formal request from Malaysian authorities for the return of the jet.
