Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak said Putrajaya has more to gain by pursuing the settlement with Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) than selling the RM1 billion mega yacht Equanimity.
Speaking to reporters at the Parliament lobby today, Najib repeatedly said his administration did not pursue claims that 1MDB funds were abused to acquire the yacht because his administration was busy pursuing the full settlement with IPIC.
