Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has announced that the government will be paying out the 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) next month, before the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.

In a Twitter posting today, he said this was in accordance to a directive by Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
