Malaysia will disintegrate within a period of two years if the opposition takes over the administration of the country after the 14th general election (GE14).
Senator Ibrahim Shah Abu Shah said he was confident that this was not impossible based on several factors, especially the manifesto of the opposition which did not stress on the national vision but more focused on personal matters.
“In the GE14, if BN loses, I give you two years only, this country will be destroyed. I give this assurance as a political observer.
"Looking at their (opposition) manifesto is sufficient, there are many instances of contradictions and related to personal interests. What is the purpose of wanting to topple the prime minister (Najib Abdul Razak)? Does it not appear to be personal in nature, vengeful and out of anger?” he said when debating the motion of thanks for the speech of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the Dewan Negara sitting yesterday.
He hoped the people would understand what could happen, if the opposition, ruled the nation.
"Is it something good or (something) that would cause chaos in the country. Try and think properly. I want all the people to understand, why should we destroy our happiness, the happiness of our future generation.
"Even if there is something wrong, we correct the mistake, we rebuild our strength. That is our responsibility as parents. I hope all Malaysians realise and do not be misused by others,” he added.
