Pakatan Harapan has finalised allocation for the 56 seats in the Johor State Legislative Assembly among its component parties contesting in the 14th General Election (GE14).
Harapan deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin said the decision was achieved in a cordial manner through consensus among the component parties of the coalition.
"Bersatu will contest in 18 state constituencies, DAP in 14 seats while Amanah and PKR will each contest in 12 seats,” he told reporters after chairing the Johor Pakatan Harapan meeting in Johor Bahru today.
Muhyiddin said the break-up of the seats concerned would be announced soon and the distribution of the seats that had been finalised enabled the party machinery to begin operation in facing the GE14.

Meanwhile, he said the Harapan had drawn up several offers for the people of the state and these would be announced after approval at the highest level had been obtained.
“A major portion of the offers prepared by the committee specifically for the people will be presented to the people of Johor after we (Harapan) receive the mandate to form the (state) government,” he said.
Muhyiddin said Harapan was also planning to hold a major rally on April 6 in this city and also the Johor Harapan Convention which was also expected to be held in April.
He said the giant rally involving the five major leaders of Harapan would be the apex event after the leaders had visited the whole country.
"The giant rally will be held in the evening which would be decided. A committee had been set up to organise the Harapan Convention, but the actual date had yet to be decided,” he said.
Meanwhile, Muhyiddin who is also Bersatu president, said the party would take disciplinary action against party members who had lodged reports to the Registrar of Societies (RoS) on violations of the party constitution.
