The friendly-fire within Selangor Pakatan Harapan intensified with the state's Amanah chief Izham Hashim launching a broadside on Menteri Besar Mohd Azmin Ali.
Without mincing words, he said Azmin, who is also Selangor Pakatan Harapan chief, is not fit to helm the state.
Izham was responding to the menteri besar's accusation this afternoon that Amanah had lied about seat negotiations in the state and that the PAS splinter party was untrustworthy.
“No such thing (as seat negotiations). He is a joker, I tell you. When did we discuss seats? PKR is the only one discussing seats, no one discussed with them.
“Because those are election (preparation) meetings, we did not discuss seats,” he told Malaysiakini.
"He is not fit to be Selangor menteri besar and Harapan chief, honestly he is not fit.
“He can't even manage simple things," he added, saying Azmin failed to call for a meeting and went to the media instead.
Earlier, Azmin, who is also PKR deputy president, insisted that a committee had met four times to discuss seat negotiations and that 80 percent of the seats had been finalised.
However, Selangor DAP chief Tony Pua appeared to be in the dark about this.
"I am not aware that 80 percent of seats have been negotiated because we have never been asked," he told Malaysiakini...
