The Court of Appeal today reversed the decision of the High Court in Kuala Lumpur and lifted the ban on four books written by Faisal Tehrani, and also found the Home Ministry to have violated the author's right to freedom of expression.
In lifting the ban, the three-member bench led by Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat said they had read the four books and did not find them a danger to the public and national security, the reasons cited for the ban.
