Abdul Jalil Sulaiman has apologised after a video of him and his young son traversing a river using a dilapidated hanging “bridge” in Lipis, Pahang made its rounds on the internet.
The clip, taken by his wife Siti Zahara Othman and posted on her personal Facebook page, had clocked more than 1.5 million views and almost 40,000 shares by Tuesday afternoon.
“My son is so enthusiastic to go to school but he has to brave this sophisticated bridge.
“It has been a year but there have been no changes at all (to this) hanging bridge in (Kampung) Pamah Aur in Bukit Betong, Kuala Lipis,” said Siti Zahara in her post.
