Jamal remanded for two days

Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos has been remanded by police for two days.

The red-shirts leader was arrested last night shortly after the Umno general assembly ended.

The arrest was reportedly over threats he had made against former law minister Zaid Ibrahim, who is now a DAP member.

Dang Wangi district police chief Shaharudin Abdullah who confirmed the remand order, said Jamal was being investigated under Section 504 of the Penal Code, and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act...
