Zaid Ibrahim will have to deal with the repercussions of his remarks regarding Selangor ruler Sharafuddin Idris Shah, according to Selangor DAP chairperson Tony Pua.

Questioned on Selangor DAP's position on the issue, he replied: “No position.”

"Our members are allowed to express their opinions but they would have to deal with whatever repercussions that come,” he said.

Pua added that the statement has nothing to do with DAP as it was not made by the party and Zaid does not hold any position in DAP.
