Selangor Umno will organise a gathering in support of the state's ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Dubbed “himpunan rakyat”, the gathering is in response to former law minister Zaid Ibrahim's remarks regarding the ruler's warning that Dr Mahathir Mohamad's anger could raze the nation.
