The Court of Appeal today reduced the jail term from four years to two years for a man who seriously injured national boxer Muhamad Farkhan Mohd Haron five years ago.

However, the bench, led by Justice Mohd Zawawi Mohd Salleh, retained the RM10,000 fine that Tunku Nick Tazuddin Izwan Syah Tunku Qadir, 32, was ordered to pay.

With this, Tunku Nick Tazuddin's jail sentence begins today. This case originated in the Sessions Court in Johor Bahru.
