Mengkibol assemblyperson Tan Hong Pin said today that objections have been filed against all 1,051 army voters found to be transferred to the Segamat camp, which is still under construction.
Speaking during a press conference at electoral reform coalition Bersih's office in Petaling Jaya, Tan said funds were raised to cover the objection costs of names found in the 2017 third quarter Supplementary Electoral Roll (RDPT), which was put on display from Oct 25 to Nov 6.
"Yesterday, we had submitted the objections. We collected RM10,000 to pay for the objections.
"We are worried that if the objections are rejected, there's a high risk that we have to pay over RM200,000, (but) that's a consequence that we must face," Tan, who is also Johor DAP Youth chief, said...
