The Selangor state government has donated RM1 million to its Penang counterpart to assist flood victims following a devastating deluge which crippled the island state.
The announcement was made by Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali tonight.
Besides the RM1 million, Azmin said the state government will also be mobilising civil servants to assist with Penang's cleanup.
"I have ordered all Selangor local governments to immediately come to Penang, and bring lorries, compactors, and other vehicles or machinery to assist with the cleanup work as soon as the flood has subsided," he said...
