The war of words between Kelantan PAS and Amanah got heated when deputy menteri besar Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah explained why the late-Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat did not choose his protege Husam Musa to replace him as menteri besar.

Mohd Amar said, Nik Aziz chose the current menteri besar Ahmad Yaakob because the latter could deliver for the people of Kelantan.

"Tok Guru (Nik Aziz) chose Ahmad because he wanted someone 'bertelur' (who could lay eggs, bring benefit) and not just 'berkokok' (cluck, talk).

"Tok Guru wanted to teach us that those who berkokok don't have telur (eggs) or batu (stones, testicles)," the PAS vice president said at a ceramah in Kota Bharu yesterday...
