Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said today that allegations of soldiers being registered as voters at uncompleted or closed down army camps should be answered by the military.
"They (the military) will not transfer soldiers unless there is enough accommodation. But if I answer it, it will become political.
"Let the military answer it themselves. I will leave it to the chief of the Armed Forces, as the end user of these camps," Hishammuddin said at a press conference at the Tun Hussein Onn Memorial in Kuala Lumpur.
He said this when asked to respond to the revelation by Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong yesterday that 1,051 army voters have been transferred to the Segamat camp, which is still under construction...
