Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi said DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang may deny wanting to become prime minister but claimed his intention was to install a puppet prime minister.

"He may deny it, but surely he has many tricks including appointing a puppet prime minister as a start - in reality, he will be the prime minister," Puad said in an information blast by the Special Affairs Department (Jasa), the government's propaganda agency.

Puad, who is also Jasa director-general, was responding to Lim's assertion earlier today that he had no ambitions to become prime minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the general election nor does he believe that there will be a non-Malay prime minister in this century.

Puad said not everything that meets the eyes is true, using the idiom "we cannot judge a book by its cover"...
