The MACC has secured a five-day remand order against Parti Warisan Sabah vice-president Peter Anthony and a 52-year-old businessman.

The duo were arrested yesterday evening at the Sabah MACC headquarters when they appeared to have their statements recorded. Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie presided the remand proceedings.

Both men were clad in orange MACC lock-up attire when they were brought to the Kota Kinabalu court.

Some 100 Warisan supporters gathered at the Kota Kinabalu court complex in the morning to greet Peter, but were forced to scatter due to the rain.
