Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak set up a special website to solicit feedback for Budget 2018.
According to his press secretary Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad, the public has up to Sept 18 to provide input.
He said public feedback was critical for formulating the budget and hence, this method has been ongoing for several years.
"There are 14 categories (to comment on), which will help the prime minister draft Budget 2018," he said, according to Utusan Malaysia.
Budget 2018 is scheduled to be tabled on October 27.
