Kedah PKR was not slighted by DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang's suggestion that the DAP be allowed to contest in two more state seats in Kedah that were previously contested by PKR.

Kedah PKR chief Dr Azman Ismail said the state PKR is always prepared to consider feedback from senior leaders within Pakatan Harapan.

"Yes, (Lim's suggestion) will be taken into account, Insya Allah," he told Malaysiakini when contacted.

Apart from being guided by principles of democracy, Azman said they were also guided by the "wisdom of party seniors".

"Lim is a senior. (So) we will discuss (and) we will also take into account the reality on the ground," he said.
