The prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor is glad that the special criminal court for sexual crimes against children is up and running.

This was in light of the case of a father facing 626 charges for allegedly raping and sodomising his now 15-year-old daughter for two years, on a routine basis.

"That is why we have the court for sexual crimes against children.

"I feel this is one of the best ways to ensure that the wrongdoer is punished by the courts...
