A Bersatu supreme council member remanded in connection with a corruption investigation into the Felda Investment Corporation (FIC) has been released this morning.

Mohd Zahid Mat Arip, an ex-aide of a Felda chairperson, walked out of the Putrajaya lower courts complex about 9.45am, accompanied by his wife, family members and officers from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

"Thank you to the MACC officers for their dedication...," Mohd Zahid said before getting into an MACC car.
