PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim has yet to receive a formal notice to attend the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into Bank Negara’s foreign exchange (forex) losses.

Anwar's lawyer R Sivarasa confirmed this, stating that he himself found out that the first hearing is starting tomorrow.

"(It is) very short notice. You issue before the weekend and say 'I'm starting over the weekend'," said Sivarasa to reporters at the Kuala Lumpur High Court today when told that the RCI had announced that the first hearing will commence tomorrow...
