Rapid KL, the operators of the newly launched MRT service, have denied allegations that some token vending machines at the Sungai Buloh station were faulty, resulting in lengthy queues.
In a statement today, Rapid KL said that all vending machines at the station were in working order and that the long queues were the result of a surge in weekend commuters.
This has resulted in some vending machines running out of tokens which needed to be replenished.
