A Kuala Lumpur High Court judge who was in charge of former opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim's challenge against the Pardons Board, today recused himself.
Justice Kamaludin Md Said decided to remove himself from hearing the case as he was involved with Anwar's previous cases when he was with the Attorney-General's Chambers.
It is learnt that prior to being a judge, Justice Kamaludin was one of the deputy public prosecutors in Anwar's Sodomy 1 case against Sukma Darmawan Sasmitaat Madja, and had also acted for the government as a senior counsel in one of Anwar's suit in 2010...
