PKR Youth wants the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and police to reopen investigations into Malaysia's 2002 purchase of two Scorpene-class submarines from a French defence company.
"Failure of the MACC and police to investigate and take appropriate legal action on the Scorpene submarine scandal will cause the image and integrity of the agencies to be sullied, and cause people to lose faith (in those agencies)," PKR Youth deputy chief Afif Bahardin said in a statement today.
