Netizen who allegedly insulted Agong to be remanded until tomorrow

The police have arrested a netizen for allegedly insulting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Muhammad V, said inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar today.

"Congratulations to KL Crime Investigation Division for successfully nabbing 'Catt Ginger' who had insulted the Yang di-Pertuan Agong," he said in a tweet without giving further details.

41-year-old Catterine Chong, who goes by the name "Catt Ginger" on Facebook, has been detained under Section 233 of the Communication and Multimedia Act 1998 and will be remanded for one more day...
