PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang's political secretary Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar has dismissed a reported rift between his boss and PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
In a statement circulated on Hadi's Facebook page, Samsuri criticised the report by The Malaysian Insight.
"We must assume all to be nonsense unless they can present clear evidence," he said.
The report claimed trouble may be brewing in PAS as Tuan Ibrahim had appointed Mustafa Ali, who was dropped by Hadi as election director, to head the PAS advisory board.
In May, Mustafa was dropped as PAS election director and replaced with Samsuri.
Shortly after, Hadi underwent a heart surgery and Tuan Ibrahim had stepped up as acting PAS president.
Samsuri in his statement today warned people not to be "fooled" by such news.
