Najib and Shafee mum on RM9.5mil saga
Senior lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah said he will issue a statement at a later date over claims he received RM9.5 million from Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak while he acted as prosecutor in the Sodomy II case.
Lawyers of jailed PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim filed a challenge seeking to overturn his Sodomy II conviction in light of the RM9.5 million allegation.
Najib also remained mum when asked about Anwar's move following claims of alleged payments.

MACC eyes Isa Samad next
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will be questioning Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) chairperson Mohd Isa next after quizzing the company's suspended chief executive officer Zakaria Arshad.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak was tight-lipped on the FGV crisis, stating that he will only share his views on the matter when he visits a Felda settlement in Johor later today.
Shahrir Samad, the chairperson of Felda, which owns about 34 percent stake in FGV, said the company needs to urgently resolve its internal crisis.
In the wake of the FGV crisis, the MACC advisory board suggested that Putrajaya should scrap the practice of appointing politicians to head government-linked companies.

Bersih, Azmin puzzled by CJ's directive
