Police will not jump the gun on an Interpol red corner notice (RCN) that Indian authorities are mulling to issue against controversial preacher Zakir Naik, said top cop Khalid Abu Bakar.

"We don't jump the gun, we wait until it happens," the inspector-general of police said when asked whether the police would enforce the RCN if issued.
