The police have completed their investigation into 1MDB and have submitted the investigation papers to the Attorney-General's Chambers.

"(We completed the investigation) some time ago," inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar told a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today.

Khalid was commenting on attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali's order to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to wrap up its investigation into former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International soon.
