There appears to be no end in sight in the squabble between Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, with Rahman launching fresh salvos.
Rahman took to Twitter this evening to question Lim's memory, after the Penang chief minister earlier today rubbished Rahman's explanation on their debate that was aborted debate.
"Lim Guan Eng has an incredibly short memory. Debate was over Taman Manggis AND bungalow.
"Lim may have contracted 'Mudah Lupa' (forgetting easily) syndrome from our previous Umno leader who is now his best buddy," Rahman said, in apparent reference to former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Mahathir, who is now Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairperson, had at the 2001 Umno annual general assembly penned a poem titled "Melayu Mudah Lupa".
Earlier today, Lim pointed out that he was not charged on the Taman Manggis land controversy.
Therefore, he said, Rahman's assertion that the debate would would incriminate Lim was not valid.
