Johor exco member Abd Latiff Bandi has been remanded for seven days to facilitate investigations into a graft case involving the conversion of bumiputera property titles.
Abd Latiff was brought before magistrate Nor Sulehan Abdul Rahman at the Johor Baru Magistrate's Court this morning.
Yesterday, Abd Latiff was questioned by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and subsequently arrested at the commision's office in Johor Baru.
The MACC also raided his home, confiscating RM42,000 in cash, a Toyota Vellfire and 150 handbags.
