Ex-CEO of Tabung Haji associate company charged with CBT

A former chief executive officer of a Tabung Haji associate company claimed trial at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court today to five counts of criminal breach of trust totalling RM2.57 million, almost four years ago.

Nor Badli Munawir Mohamad Alias Lafti, 50, is charged with using his position as a chief executive officer of TH Heavy Engineering Bhd to commit CBT on five cheques of RM400,000, RM570,000, RM430,000, RM600,000 and RM575,800 each between April and Oct 2013.

He allegedly committed the offence at the TH Heavy Engineering Fabricators Sdn Bhd office at Level 23, Tower B, Menara UOA in Bangsar.
