Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) founding member Anina Saadudin is not the party’s Srikandi (women) chief because her performance is not up to par, said its president Muhyiddin Yassin.
“What happened was that Anina did not meet the targets we hoped for, so the decision was that she would not be appointed as Srikandi chief,” Muhyiddin said at a press conference in Shah Alam.
Anina last month claimed she had been stripped of her post as Bersatu women chief. She believed it may have been due to a sex scandal she was implicated in.
