The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) claimed its former director Bahri Mohd Zin did not mention opting for early retirement due to disappointment over the SRC International Sdn Bhd case as reported.
In a media statement, the commission said: “In regards to a statement published in a media portal today stating Bahri chose to retire early due to disappointment that investigation into SRC International failed to be brought to court, MACC contacted Bahri and he denied making such a statement to the portal.”
Contacted for comment on this, Bahri replied: “Wait for my official statement soon. Don't confuse the people by making statements on my behalf, hear it from my own mouth.”
