Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos today filed a suit against the Selangor government wanting to stop the local council of Sabak Bernam from demolishing his resort.

He filed the suit on behalf of his company, Jamal Jaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, where he is the managing director, that owned the Sekin Fisherman Village Hotel and Resort, at Sekinchan.

The suit was filed at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court where Jamal named the Sabak Bernam district council, the Sabak Bernam district office and the Selangor government as defendants.
