Red-shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos was remanded for four days and it was for four long days, too, that he did not shower.

“Firstly, I want to say that I have not bathed for four days,” was the first thing he said after he was released at the Ampang Jaya district police headquarters today.

Four days spent in detention have also given him the “inspiration” to launch a new campaign, which he called 'Bersih 7'.
