Dahlan Maamor, the host of Bernama TV’s ‘Ruang Bicara’, claimed he was suspended from his job following pressure from Umno.

The popular host had shared on Facebook the views of lawyer Adnan Seman who recommended that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak seriously consider resigning if it can unite his party.

It was part of the ‘Ruang Bicara’ show, where Adnan had been invited to speak.

However, Umno’s media unit secretary Ahmad Kamal Zailani was unimpressed about the Facebook post and had raised the issue on WhatsApp.

Dahlan was subsequently suspended by Bernama chairperson Azman Ujang.
